Face Friends Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Task & Project Management Coordinator (remote) to oversee daily operations across programs, coordinate timelines, supervise volunteers, and drive process improvements that advance our mission to alleviate food insecurity, poverty, and educational/health disparities in Georgia and Jamaica. This role requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration in a virtual environment.

How You'll Contribute

  • Oversee day-to-day task and project operations across programs
  • Coordinate and track program timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Supervise and support volunteers and team members to achieve objectives
  • Develop and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues
  • Standardize documentation, workflows, and reporting practices
  • Facilitate virtual meetings, updates, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Align tasks and resources to mission priorities and program needs
  • Report on program status, metrics, and outcomes to leadership

  • Proven supervisory experience with proficiency in operations management
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and drive improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated program/project management experience (planning through execution)
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual team setting
  • Experience in nonprofit/charity work or a strong passion for serving underprivileged communities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred (not required)

The Face Friends Foundation (based in Sugar Hill, GA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to alleviating food insecurity, poverty, and educational or health disparities. Their mission focuses on providing food, clothing, financial assistance, and, at times, tutoring or medical support to individuals and families in need in Georgia and Jamaica.

  • Food Security: Providing food boxes, hot meals, and supporting a hot food pantry.
