MissionHires is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large or complex construction projects end-to-end. You will own contract administration, safety culture, budget, schedule, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management, while mentoring teams and driving value engineering. This role requires 10+ years of progressive construction experience, deep industry knowledge, and proven leadership in delivering safe, on-time, and on-budget projects.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support for large or complex construction projects
  • Lead and reinforce the project safety plan and site safety culture by example
  • Oversee total construction to deliver per design, budget, quality, resources, and schedule
  • Propose and evaluate value engineering options for functionality, cost, and schedule benefits
  • Own project performance; review and act on safety, cost forecast, and schedule status reports
  • Negotiate, issue, and manage subcontracts, major purchase orders, progress payments, and supplier/partner schedules
  • Interpret, communicate, and proactively manage the prime contract and contract documents
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute project commissioning and closeout
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities
  • Supervise, coach, train, and mentor project teams, including direct and indirect reports
  • For design-build deliveries: monitor design progress, compliance, quality, coordination, constructability, and deliverable timing
  • Implement design-management and design-quality plans; conduct periodic quality audits
  • Keep stakeholders informed of opportunities and challenges; manage expectations through appropriate communication

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership and mentoring
  • Proven track record implementing strong safety culture aligned with HSE principles and legislation
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices, diverse project types, building materials, specifications, methods, construction law, building codes, safety, and quality management
  • Superior planning, organizational, and time management skills with ability to manage budgets, risks, resources, and schedules
  • Ability to monitor and forecast project resources and staffing needs
  • Demonstrated capability to identify and manage risks and opportunities on construction projects
  • Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills with key decision makers
  • Experience leading teams, managing trade performance, and all construction project facets
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management and scheduling software, and aptitude for adopting new technology
