Project Superintendent, Heavy Civil / FDOT Bridge & Heavy Highway

A confidential Florida heavy civil contractor is adding a Project Superintendent to lead field operations on FDOT bridge and heavy highway work in the Saint Petersburg and Tampa Bay market. This is a real field leadership seat for someone who has run bridge work, not just sitework or roadway support, and can coordinate foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, owners, and crews while protecting schedule and production. Direct hire, base $140K to $175K plus project bonus and full benefits, and relocation is on the table for the right person.

Run day to day field operations on FDOT bridge and heavy highway projects

Coordinate foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and owners

Protect schedule and drive daily production

Manage crews and keep work moving safely and efficiently

Own jobsite safety and FDOT compliance

Communicate clearly across the field and project teams

Project Superintendent or Bridge Superintendent

5 to 7 plus years heavy highway and bridge experience

Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs, and reports

OSHA Competent Person certification

Clean driving record

Tampa Bay preferred; Florida or Southeast candidates open to relocation are viable

Strong pluses: cast in place bridge, segmental bridge, post tensioned bridge, OSHA 30, Spanish bilingual
