MissionHires is seeking a proven New Home Design & Sales Manager to drive sales and customer experience for a privately owned, regional single-family home builder operating across the Southeast. You will lead the end-to-end sales process for semi-custom homes, create prospect urgency, guide buyers through financing and selections, collaborate with construction teams on customized plans, and mentor fellow sales team members. This role offers salary + commission, auto allowance, flexible hours, and full benefits, with projected annual compensation of $90K–$120K based on sales performance.

How You'll Contribute

  • Address and manage objections to achieve win/win outcomes and close deals
  • Create appropriate prospect urgency to utilize company services
  • Register 100% of prospects with complete and accurate demographic information
  • Consistently follow up with prospective buyers to advance them through the funnel
  • Set proper expectations at purchase agreement to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Guide buyers through mortgage options, lot acquisition, sale of current home, design selections, and the build process to successful closing
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to the sales team; share best practices
  • Use effective, proven sales processes to build rapport, qualify needs, ability to buy, and timing
  • Differentiate homes by effectively presenting the building process and value proposition
  • Financially qualify buyers; explain conventional, FHA, VA programs and tax benefits
  • Respond promptly to incoming leads and meet potential customers
  • Collaborate with construction teams to translate homeowner design ideas into viable plans
  • Review architectural plans with customers and coordinate with banks to close loans/financing
  • Meet and exceed annual home sales goals to grow the business

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years of strong inside/outside sales experience; new home construction or construction materials sales highly desirable
  • Proven track record as a strong deal closer with solid prospecting, sales, and closing techniques
  • Well-developed verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, PC, and team-player skills
  • Ability to financially qualify buyers and discuss conventional, FHA, and VA programs, plus tax benefits
  • Experience guiding clients through mortgage, lot purchase, current home sale, selections, and build-to-close process
  • Comfort collaborating with construction teams on semi-custom design solutions and plan reviews
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred but not required
  • Real estate license not required (nor preferred)
  • Willingness to respond to lead calls promptly and maintain rigorous follow-up discipline
  • Ability to work flexible hours; valid driver’s license for travel to meetings and communities
