Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is seeking a full-time Building Enclosure Project Manager to lead investigations, peer reviews, design coordination, bidding support, construction phase supervision, and field testing for roofing, glazing, and waterproofing systems. This remote role is based in the San Antonio area and requires in-person site visits across Texas. You’ll produce reports, manage client communications, coordinate drawings/specifications, and ensure high-quality project delivery while benefiting from strong compensation, paid time off, employer-paid health coverage, and professional development.

How You'll Contribute

  • Conduct investigative surveys of roofing, glazing, and waterproofing to identify deterioration and sources of water infiltration
  • Generate written reports documenting observations, findings, recommendations, and cost estimates for supervisor review
  • Perform peer reviews of drawings and specifications for new construction and provide redline markups
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss review comments and provide follow-up documentation of action items
  • Coordinate generation of building envelope plans, elevations, and details
  • Format and review specifications in Microsoft Word
  • Support bid phase activities, including attending pre-bid meetings and drafting meeting minutes
  • Provide construction phase supervision, including pre-construction and progress meetings, site visits, and observation reports for supervisor review
  • Assist with field performance testing of building envelope assemblies
  • Attend employer-paid educational seminars and professional development courses as approved

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Minimum 3 years of building envelope consulting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in an architectural, engineering, or construction-related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam
  • Experience performing peer reviews for new construction under supervision
  • Experience designing roof replacements and window/wall repair projects under supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to manage construction phase services on new construction and repair projects
  • Ability to perform in-person site visits and attend meetings across the San Antonio area and Texas
  • Strong written communication skills for reports, specifications, and meeting documentation
  • Preferred certifications (not required): IIBEC RRO, REWO, RWO, RRC, REWC, or RWC

Perks & Benefits

  • Base Pay: Ranging from $80,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on candidate experience, certifications, and skills. 

  • Paid Time Off: The following eight (8) hour days of paid time off, for a total of thirty (30) days in each calendar year, are included:

  • Holidays: Eight (8) days per year, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas (2 days)

  • Vacation/Personal Time: Twenty-two (22) days per year, 8 hours per day.

  • Benefits: We offer employer-sponsored health coverage through the Blue Choice PPO Network (BlueCross BlueShield). For 2026, employee premiums for any of the three available coverage levels will be 100% paid by company. A group dental plan is also available for an additional cost.

  • Bonuses: Annual bonuses are based on individual and company performance, up to a maximum of 30 percent of the Base Salary.

  • Reimbursable Expenses: In addition to the benefits and base pay described above, we will reimburse the following work-related expenses:

  • Tolls at cost

  • Mileage $0.70/mile (IRS published rate)

  • Other Approved Expenses at cost
