About the Role
Attack! Marketing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to lead experiential marketing programs from inception to execution. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance high-level client relationships with hands-on program management, ensuring seamless execution of nationwide experiential activations, such as mobile tours, pop-up events, trade shows, and in-store demos.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing multiple projects, a deep understanding of the experiential marketing landscape, and the ability to lead teams while maintaining client satisfaction. You will be responsible for delivering measurable results, managing budgets, and consistently driving innovation in program execution.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Strategic Planning
Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and maintaining clear, open communication.
Develop and present program strategies, goals, and KPIs that align with client objectives.
Lead client meetings, providing updates on program progress, challenges, and solutions.
Create comprehensive project proposals, budgets, scopes of work, and timelines.
Proactively manage client expectations, addressing out-of-scope requests and providing strategic recommendations.
Program Oversight & Logistics Management
Oversee the full lifecycle of experiential programs, including planning, staffing, logistics, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure all deliverables meet creative and logistical requirements.
Manage the sourcing and coordination of vehicles, cold storage, permits, and venue logistics for program activations.
Ensure all program elements, including branded assets and materials, are properly sourced, organized, and delivered on time.
Monitor live activations, providing on-site or remote support as needed to troubleshoot and ensure success.
Utilize geo-clustering and strategic scheduling to optimize activation locations, reduce costs, and maximize exposure in high-traffic areas.
Coordinate on-site activations for major events, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring program success.
Staffing & Training
Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of Brand Ambassadors, Field Managers, and other field staff to represent brands and execute experiential activations.
Provide training materials, coaching, and resources to ensure staff execute activations successfully.
Conduct regular staff check-ins to monitor performance, provide feedback, and address any on-site challenges.
Utilize real-time tracking to confirm staff check-ins, manage attendance, and quickly address any no-shows or gaps in coverage.
Logistics & Asset Management
Coordinate the shipment, routing, and receipt of materials and branded assets from fulfillment centers to activation sites.
Track inventory and manage the replenishment of supplies as needed.
Oversee scheduling, permits, venue coordination, and transportation logistics.
Secure storage solutions to meet program requirements.
Maintain an inventory system for materials to avoid shortages or overages.
Budget Management & Financial Oversight
Develop and manage detailed program budgets, tracking expenses to ensure profitability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising program quality.
Reconcile program budgets post-activation, providing clear financial reports to clients and internal teams.
Draft quotes and cost estimates for experiential activations.
Track and report all program expenses, ensuring transparency and cost control.
Work closely with the accounting team to finalize financial reports, address any discrepancies, and ensure profitability.
Vendor Sourcing & Management
Research, vet, and negotiate with vendors for services such as fabrication, logistics, and storage solutions.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key vendors to ensure timely delivery of program needs.
Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with program specifications and budgets.
Source cost-effective local vendors when geo-clustering to reduce shipping and logistical costs.
Coordinate Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests with clients and vendors to meet program requirements.
Problem Solving & Escalation
Monitor activations to ensure 100% execution and actively staff any openings as needed.
Proactively identify and resolve program challenges, such as staffing shortages, logistical delays, or client concerns.
Serve as the escalation point for on-site issues, providing real-time solutions to maintain program success.
Payroll Oversight
Oversee payroll processes for Brand Ambassadors, Field Market Managers, and other program staff.
Verify and approve timesheets, expenses, and reimbursements submitted by field staff.
Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time in collaboration with the accounting team.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and field staff, to deliver seamless program execution.
Work closely with creative, operations, and logistics teams to ensure all program elements align with the client’s vision and objectives.
Reporting & Insights
Compile detailed post-event reports and wrap decks, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights to clients, demonstrating measurable ROI and opportunities for future activations.
Maintain thorough documentation of program milestones, updates, and learnings for internal and client reference.
Track program performance metrics such as consumer engagement, brand impressions, and participation.
Review and process staff recaps, photos, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide weekly internal updates on program performance, milestones, and areas for improvement.
Highlight successes in key markets, emphasizing experiential activations’ role in driving brand impact.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in account management, project coordination, experiential marketing, and events.
Experience in staffing, scheduling, and executing high-volume, large-scale experiential activations.
Proven success in scheduling activations using geo-clustering, high-traffic locations, and strategic planning.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale programs simultaneously.
Experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), lifestyle, or tech brands preferred.
Proven success in managing program budgets, reconciling expenses, and overseeing payroll.
Skills:
Strong client relationship management, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
Expertise in logistics, including sourcing vehicles, managing freight and storage, and coordinating large-scale activations.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and Google Workspace.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present updates and insights to clients.
Financial acumen, including proficiency in budget creation, expense tracking, and reconciliation.
Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
High proficiency with iMessage, Apple Products, and familiarity with Promomash (preferred).
Ability to identify key performance metrics and translate them into actionable improvements.
