MissionHires is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex ground-up and renovation projects across K-12 & Higher Education (top priority), Healthcare/Clinical (highly preferred), Athletic/Recreation, Military/Law Enforcement, Community/Cultural, Industrial/Manufacturing, Mixed-Use/Retail, TI/Small Projects, Municipal/Public Works, and live-environment renovations. Reporting to the Project Executive, you will own project schedule, cost, contracts, and client satisfaction while partnering closely with field superintendents and mentoring a team of PMs and contract administrators. This role requires expert communication, financial acumen, risk management, and hands-on jobsite engagement to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead overall project management in alignment with company SOPs, owning schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate daily with superintendents to create a seamless office–field team and ensure site execution aligns with plan
  • Professionally communicate with owners, user groups, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate, manage, and report project finances and resources to the Project Executive; maintain cost control and forecasting
  • Understand and administer all project documents and owner contract requirements (bonds, fees, notices, schedules, reporting, insurance)
  • Drive proactive client and owner’s representative communication to deliver a positive construction experience
  • Employ effective conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies across the project lifecycle
  • Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet schedule, quality, and safety expectations
  • Manage, mentor, coordinate, and advise project managers and contract administrators; provide training and growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups reflecting company values
  • Participate in industry, client, and community activities to enhance company image and support business development
  • Support proposals and interviews for new business opportunities
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across the entire project team
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits and collaborate with the superintendent on progress, safety, logistics, and issue resolution
  • Hold appropriate team members accountable to roles, responsibilities, and deadlines at the right time
  • Pursue continued education and industry training as provided by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 8+ years of construction project management experience; BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously with full responsibility for schedule, cost, contracts, and client relations
  • Demonstrated experience in K-12 & Higher Education projects (most preferred) and/or Healthcare & Clinical projects (highly preferred) including complex MEP tie-ins, sterile protocols, and live-environment constraints
  • Experience with one or more of: Athletic/Recreation, Military/Law Enforcement, Community/Cultural, Industrial/Manufacturing, Mixed-Use/Retail, TI/Small Projects, Municipal/Public Works, and live-occupied renovations
  • Strong budget, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; professional client-facing demeanor
  • Proven leadership with ability to manage, mentor, motivate, and hold teams accountable
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving expertise; forward-thinking and self-motivated with strong time management
  • Ability to make regular jobsite visits and work in office trailers or existing structures; adherence to PPE and company safety policies
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure; able to sit at a desk for extended periods as needed
