How You'll Contribute

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of Test Equipment projects for military aircraft flight control systems (depot-level and production acceptance).
  • Simultaneously manage one major project and up to five minor projects while ensuring compliance with customer and contractual requirements.
  • Own schedules, resource planning, and financial forecasting; provide regular status and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and international military customers to capture, refine, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop Test Equipment Requirement Specifications and Statements of Work for RFQs; prepare and present comprehensive proposals with resource-loaded schedules.
  • Manage subcontract procurement and vendor performance, including audits, technical evaluations, and corrective action oversight.
  • Serve as Contractor Coordinator overseeing subcontractor activities at company or customer sites; ensure safe and compliant execution.
  • Drive verification and validation activities and ensure traceability from requirements through acceptance.
  • Coordinate timely resolution of significant issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions; support root cause analysis and quality audits.
  • Maintain complete project documentation and configuration control across the lifecycle.
  • Enforce health, safety, risk assessment, and compliance practices during project work.
  • Support EVMS fundamentals and control cost, schedule, and scope to meet program objectives.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of technical project management experience in aerospace, automotive, or test equipment environments.
  • Proven experience in subcontract/vendor management, requirements management, and verification/validation methods.
  • Demonstrated success managing cost, schedule, and scope; familiarity with EVMS fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic, electric, and mechanical aerospace actuation systems.
  • Experience generating Test Equipment Requirement Specifications, Statements of Work, RFQs, and proposals.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and interface with U.S. and international military customers.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Willing and able to work onsite in East Aurora, NY; relocation assistance available.
