How You'll Contribute
- Lead HVAC and plumbing system design for complex building projects
- Develop system approaches, equipment selections, and mechanical room layouts
- Coordinate directly with clients, architects, and internal disciplines
- Lead projects through design and construction phases
- Produce and review 3D Revit models and 2D CAD drawings
- Perform and review engineering calculations and specifications
- Generate equipment selections, schedules, and documentation
- Conduct site observations and prepare construction administration reports
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the new Salt Lake City office
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 6–15 years of HVAC and/or plumbing design experience in a building consulting environment
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in Revit (required) and AutoCAD
