This hybrid role combines hands-on design, client coordination, and project leadership across healthcare, education, government, commercial, and institutional facilities, with significant growth and leadership potential.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead HVAC and plumbing system design for complex building projects
  • Develop system approaches, equipment selections, and mechanical room layouts
  • Coordinate directly with clients, architects, and internal disciplines
  • Lead projects through design and construction phases
  • Produce and review 3D Revit models and 2D CAD drawings
  • Perform and review engineering calculations and specifications
  • Generate equipment selections, schedules, and documentation
  • Conduct site observations and prepare construction administration reports
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the new Salt Lake City office

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 6–15 years of HVAC and/or plumbing design experience in a building consulting environment
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in Revit (required) and AutoCAD
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
