We are seeking a full-time Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, energetic, and rewarding work environment. This opportunity is anticipated to be located in Great Falls or Helena, MT, but all Montana locations (Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Bozeman) may be considered.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead design and analysis of bridge and structural transportation projects (steel, concrete, timber)
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from planning through construction
  • Provide technical leadership, quality reviews, and mentorship to bridge/transportation staff
  • Prepare and review bridge plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders, including state DOTs, federal agencies, and local jurisdictions
  • Oversee bridge load ratings, inspections, and rehabilitation/replacement strategies
  • Support construction administration, field inspections, and site reviews
  • Lead business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement
  • Manage and deliver related structures: culverts, hydraulic structures, roadway structures, retaining walls, railroad bridges
  • Optionally support or manage other civil projects (roads/highways, intersections/roundabouts, vertical structures, water/sewer, stormwater, federal facilities)

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Structural emphasis preferred)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required

  • 10+ years of experience in bridge and structural transportation engineering

  • Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams

  • Strong client relationship management and business development experience

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience living or working in Montana is a plus
