This leader will own full project execution and financial performance for large commercial construction projects—from preconstruction through closeout—across sectors like healthcare, higher education, civic, research, and high-tech infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, financial acumen, field oversight experience, and proven success managing complex schedules, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance. How You'll Contribute

  • Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives are met
  • Partner with preconstruction on estimates, bid reviews, job setup, team formation, and owner/design kickoff meetings
  • Develop, maintain, and report on the project master schedule (Primavera P6) and implement the Last Planner System (LPS)
  • Drive a safety-first culture; ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to company safety programs
  • Oversee submittals, coordination, BIM execution plans, and field issue resolution with owners, architects, and subcontractors
  • Align owner contract requirements with subcontract agreements; ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Establish and manage the original project budget; maintain full financial accountability and forecasting
  • Manage cost reports, change management, and subcontractor change orders with timely processing
  • Provide accurate financial reporting to corporate finance and proactively mitigate schedule and cost risks
  • Implement project quality management protocols and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Lead internal and external meetings; contribute to training, company initiatives, and regional business development/pursuits
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, high-performance team culture

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction project experience
  • Proven experience delivering large commercial projects; healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, and science/technology preferred
  • Demonstrated financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, and MS Office (Excel required)
  • Understanding of Project Labor Agreements (PLA) and regional labor agreements preferred
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and proactively resolve project performance issues
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a track record of team and subcontractor management
  • Commitment to safety (OSHA compliance) and quality management standards
  • Experience with healthcare projects including Hospital/Healthcare and OSHPD/HCAI preferred
  • Willingness to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA
