The Life Insurance Agent will be responsible for selling life insurance policies to individuals, families, and businesses. You will assess clients’ needs, recommend appropriate coverage options, and ensure that they fully understand their benefits. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sales, an understanding of insurance products, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Sales & Prospecting: Actively prospect for new clients through referrals, networking and lead generation. Maintain and grow an active client base.
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored recommendations based on their individual circumstances.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on various life insurance products, including term life, whole life, and universal life insurance.
Policy Implementation: Assist clients in completing the necessary paperwork and applications for life insurance policies.
Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals while maintaining high standards of ethical conduct.
Follow-Up & Support: Regularly follow up with clients to review and update their policies as needed and ensure they are fully covered.
Compliance: Ensure all sales and customer interactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Licensing: Must hold a valid life insurance license (requirements vary by state).
Experience: Previous sales experience, particularly in insurance, is preferred but not required.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to listen, understand client needs, and offer appropriate solutions.
Motivation: Strong self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset.
Technology: Comfortable using CRM software and other digital tools for customer tracking and communication.
