This onsite role supports electrical controls, power distribution, PLCs, and instrumentation, with a strong emphasis on safety, NEC compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Training is on day shift; regular schedule is generally 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with flexibility. Minimal travel (1–5 trips/year).

How You'll Contribute

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems
  • Support and maintain electrical control systems, power distribution, transformers, and motor controls
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems and instrumentation equipment
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic (fluid power) systems
  • Provide technical support for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and internal safety standards; promote workplace and food safety
  • Assist with electrical construction projects, including scope writing and project coordination
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve equipment and process issues
  • Support data collection instrumentation and related reporting

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Valid Master Electrician License (Iowa or reciprocal)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical controls
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits and industrial electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems and instrumentation troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to become proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and safety mindset
  • Flexibility to work the general 10:00 AM–6:30 PM schedule and adjust as needed for operations
  • Ability to travel 1–5 times per year outside the assigned location
  • Preferred: Associate degree in Electronic Technology or related field
  • Preferred: Experience programming/configuring PLC systems
  • Preferred: Familiarity with servo motors, encoders, tachometers, and closed-loop motor systems
