How You'll Contribute
- Lead and coordinate the mammography team, working closely with staff, physicians, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, highquality care, and compliance with standards.
- Monitor dashboards/quality controls (e.g., MQSA compliance, QC binders, order completion, missing information for radiologists) and ensure readiness for audits and daily operations.
- Make daily assignments and oversee throughput, equipment maintenance, supply stocking, incident reporting, and shift reports; act as a mentor/preceptor for technologists; contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison for patients, families, staff and physicians; promote patientcentered care, excellent customer relations, risk reduction, and departmental quality.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Holds ARRT certification in Mammography (M) and Radiologic Technology (R)
- Holds Basic or Advanced Life Support Certification
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mammography Technologist in an acute hospital or ambulatory setting
- Excellent technical skills across all age groups and conditions; proven leadership abilities; ability to lift/maneuver patients with assistance
- Strong organizational, timemanagement, interpersonal and customerservice skills; positive attitude and compassionate approach
