How You'll Contribute

  • Oversee chemistry lab operations, including workflow management and quality assurance.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to a team of clinical lab professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for staff development, training, and competency evaluations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable licensure and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in staffing, performance evaluations, and scheduling to ensure coverage.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and support safety programs.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field

  • Minimum of 6 years of clinical laboratory experience in Chemistry

  • Florida Supervisor License in Clinical Chemistry and Serology

  • Active certification through ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent

  • Prior experience leading or supervising laboratory teams

  • Clinical Chemistry testing and troubleshooting

  • Laboratory quality assurance and regulatory compliance

  • Team leadership, coaching, and performance management
