An experienced engineering leader is needed to manage and grow our satellite office in Morgantown. As the Group Manager, you will take charge of overseeing engineering projects, supervising staff, driving business development, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch service across various engineering projects while fostering strong client relationships.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects, including geotechnical and construction materials.
  • Assemble and guide project teams through all project phases, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
  • Manage project financials, resource allocation, scheduling, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct technical reviews of engineering plans, designs, and specifications, maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards.
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, client relationships, and proposal writing.
  • Oversee branch financials, forecasting, staffing, and personnel development.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and alignment with company values.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a focus on geotechnical engineering is required. A Master’s degree and graduation from West Virginia University are preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum 8 years of combined technical and managerial experience in engineering preferably with geotechnical background.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of relationship-building.
  • Business acumen with experience managing profit and loss (P&L).
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards and engineering best practices.
  • Familiarity with local and regional engineering trends is preferred.
