How You'll Contribute
- Perform detailed electrical design for institutional and commercial buildings (power, lighting, fire alarm, building systems)
- Develop electrical room layouts, load calculations, and one-line diagrams
- Produce 3D Revit models and 2D CAD drawings
- Complete photometric calculations, short circuit calculations, and arc flash studies
- Prepare project drawings, specifications, and equipment selection/application
- Conduct code studies, site surveys, and related correspondence
- Support construction administration activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients; communicate progress and issues clearly
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) from an accredited university in a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in building consulting engineering as a project designer, engineer, or project manager
- Proficiency in Revit (minimum 3 years) and AutoCAD (minimum 4 years)
- Demonstrated experience with electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems design
- Experience performing load calculations, one-line development, photometric calculations, short circuit calculations, and arc flash studies
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.); knowledge of Ajera is a plus
