Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is hiring a Director of Sales for a longstanding kitchen and bath cabinetry client based in Raleigh, NC. This onsite leader will coach and scale a team of five sales/design reps, drive net-new business and organic growth, set and manage KPIs, oversee pipeline, territory, and lead management, and own budgeting, commissions, and performance accountability. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cabinetry sales with 4–5+ years managing sales teams, excels at big-ticket selling, pipeline discipline, and customer-centric leadership, and can travel to additional company locations as needed.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide regular coaching to sales staff to enhance skills, strategy, and performance
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for a team of five sales/design reps
  • Mentor team members for ongoing professional growth
  • Foster a positive, healthy workplace culture
  • Address and manage under-performance with clear action plans
  • Hold daily and weekly accountability meetings with each salesperson
  • Establish, track, and report KPIs at company, department, team, and individual levels
  • Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales strategies and goals
  • Run lead management processes, including software-based lead search and assignment
  • Manage scheduling to optimize sales activities and productivity
  • Oversee territory management for effective coverage and client engagement
  • Match clients to the most suitable sales/design staff
  • Set and achieve sales goals for the team and individuals
  • Ensure each opportunity in the pipeline has a realistic Plan of Action (POA)
  • Own commission structures and bonus distribution
  • Manage sales-related expenses (car, phone, travel, insurance) within budget
  • Drive new business development while growing existing accounts through lead generation and RFPs
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure excellent customer experience and follow-through
