Construction Superintendent - Northbrook, Illinois

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants; ensure proper staffing and productivity.

• Manage daily jobsite activities, scheduling, sequencing, and progress tracking.

• Enforce compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, permits, and local building codes.

• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues, conflicts, and deficiencies.

• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries with the project team.

• Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and jobsite records.

• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.

• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times.

• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience

• Thorough knowledge of trades and familiarity with computers and mobile devices

• Experience in high-end retail tenant improvements and restaurant buildout projects

• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and cost control

• Experience with construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-facing presence

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage fast-paced projects

• Detail-oriented, solutions-driven leader with strong time management skills
