MissionHires is seeking a Construction Project Manager - Global Facilities in Atlanta, GA (salary: $120k–$160k) to lead day-to-day EPC/CM project execution from pre-construction through closeout and warranty. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance; manage contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships; oversee risk, compliance, documentation, and field operations; and mentor project teams. This role requires extensive site-based project leadership and 100% travel.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead day-to-day construction execution for single or multiple EPC/CM projects from pre-construction through closeout and warranty
  • Own and promote project Safety & Health performance for staff and subcontractors; conduct safety audits/assessments
  • Plan and manage schedule, estimating, cost development, budgeting, cash flow, and earned value metrics
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; interface on proposals, negotiations, project reporting, and executive updates
  • Participate in internal/external risk reviews; coordinate with Legal; lead claims mitigation
  • Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and downstream client-contractor agreements
  • Implement assigned sections of the Project Execution Plan (construction execution, QA, safety & health, subcontracting, staffing, org chart, procurement)
  • Build construction staffing plans; train/mentor teams; coordinate multidisciplinary/global practice collaboration
  • Oversee site layout, mobilization, demobilization planning and implementation
  • Verify and manage permits, insurance, taxes/duties, licensure, and bonding requirements
  • Lead RFP/bid processes: bidder development, prequalification, scope development, evaluation, award and selection
  • Administer downstream contracts: RFIs, submittals, change management, closeout, documentation control
  • Review/approve internal and external reports including budgets, cash flow forecasts, schedule/status reports
  • Coordinate with engineering to align deliverables with project schedule and requirements
  • Manage invoicing processes for prime, subcontractor, and client contractor billing
  • Coordinate commissioning and startup teams with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Implement, audit, and oversee project documentation systems and compliance
  • Conduct safety, quality, progress, and financial audits; manage non-conformance reporting
  • Set up WBS, project controls, field progress tracking; manage program-level activities as required
  • Oversee materials receiving and management, inventory control, storage, and logistics
  • Ensure subcontractor and client contractor compliance with contracts, safety, quality, and schedule
  • Direct turnover documentation, warranty administration, and records retention
  • Engage with governmental, industry, and public entities on project matters
  • Review construction field reports and provide actionable direction
  • Mentor interns, coordinators, craft supervision, and assistant PMs; provide performance feedback
  • Manage building trades and community relationships; develop/implement project labor agreements
  • Oversee craft/field supervision onboarding; manage composite crew rates, staffing, craft classifications, and progression
  • Manage labor burdens, benefits, compliance with labor laws; uphold craft competency/training standards
  • Estimate, forecast, and manage craft install unit rates; oversee change management and cost metrics
  • Manage construction equipment inventory and utilization to meet project needs
  • Travel and/or site assignment as required; comply with company policies and standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of relevant construction project management experience (equivalent experience may substitute for degree)
  • Multiple years of on-site construction or program management experience; preferred exposure to aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, transmission & distribution, or water
  • Proven success managing safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and subcontractors on large/complex projects
  • Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software; strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong written/verbal communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high work volumes and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) related to project financials
  • Experience with RFP/bid processes, contract negotiation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and claims mitigation
  • Familiarity with permits, insurance, bonding, licensure, and compliance for construction projects
  • Ability to coordinate cross-discipline engineering deliverables and commissioning/startup activities
  • Experience with earned value management, WBS setup, progress tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing teams and craft labor; experience with labor agreements and trades relations is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% as required
