We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role is hands-on, requires autonomy, quick decision-making, and strong communication to maintain project momentum and quality.
How You'll Contribute
Construction Project Manager duties include:
- The Construction Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring operational efficiency from pre-bid to project closeout.
- This hands-on role requires autonomy, quick decision-making, and effective communication to maintain project momentum and quality.
- Manage 6–10 projects, maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards while conducting site visits for safety and progress monitoring.
- Help hire, train, and oversee a small self-perform crew.
- Oversee change orders, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout packages.
- Lead estimating and bidding processes, review plans, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive quotes and manage performance.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates and ensuring clear communication throughout project execution.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Construction Project Manager candidates must possess:
- 10+ years of construction experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously ($25K–$1M)
- Strong background in estimating, bidding, subcontractor coordination, and field execution
- Ability to read plans, understand means & methods, and manage jobsite sequencing
- Proficient with construction management software
- Solid understanding of safety practices (OSHA)
- Familiarity with municipal permitting; federal experience is a plus
