We are looking for a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic diagnostic imaging team in the Pittsfield, MA area. In this role you’ll perform a wide variety of radiographic procedures, using independent judgment and technical expertise to contribute to accurate patient diagnoses. You’ll uphold high standards of patient care, follow infection-control protocols rigorously, and excel both independently and as part of a team.
How You'll Contribute
Key Responsibilities
- Execute diverse radiographic exams (CR, DR) with precision.
- Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS and RIS systems.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver outstanding patient care.
- Adhere to infection control measures, body substance isolation, and OSHA rules.
- Participate in on-call and holiday rotation as assigned.
- Mentor or provide instruction to peers or support staff when designated.
- Maintain required departmental competencies and attend all mandatory training sessions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Massachusetts Radiology License (MALIC).
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography [ARRT(RTR)].
- Demonstrated ability to function independently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Completion of all mandatory annual training (e.g., infection control, bloodborne pathogens).
