Workers Compensation Defense Attorney - El Segundo, California

We are actively seeking skilled Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join a growing legal team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. The team is committed to delivering high-quality legal defense services to a diverse clientele in the workers' compensation space. Position: Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney. Status: Full-Time (Remote flexibility). Location: Multiple locations in California. Relocation: Not offered, but CA-barred attorneys outside CA considered if relocating soon. Salary: $100,000 - $220,000 (depends on years of experience). Bonus: Yes - performance-based bonus opportunities available. Visa Support: Not provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense matters from start to resolution
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and trials with professionalism and strategy
• Maintain regular communication with insurance carriers, employers, and TPAs
• Utilize strong case management skills to move matters forward proactively
• Uphold a high standard of ethics and professionalism

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor and active membership in the California State Bar
• 3+ years of workers' compensation experience (defense preferred; plaintiff/applicant experience considered)
  • Note: LA office is open to candidates with less than 3 years of experience
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and case milestones
