Why This Role Matters

We are hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Whisky Specialist to grow the visibility, distribution, and engagement of a premium whisky portfolio across the Miami market. This field-based role blends trade relationship management, on-premise and retail activations, experiential marketing, and education for hospitality teams and consumers. You will collaborate with distributor partners, key accounts, and internal teams to execute brand programs, tastings, and events, while managing budgets, reporting outcomes, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

How You'll Contribute

  • Represent the whisky portfolio professionally across all market and trade-facing activities
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with internal leadership, distributor partners, and account stakeholders
  • Present ideas, updates, training, and reports effectively in both written and verbal formats (EN/ES)
  • Collaborate with distributor teams and accounts to plan and execute brand programs and promotions
  • Coordinate and execute tastings, events, promotions, and experiential activations at targeted venues
  • Plan weekly activation schedules with distributor sales teams and account contacts
  • Provide timely feedback and reporting on program performance, insights, and measurable outcomes
  • Manage and grow approximately 50 priority on-premise accounts to drive visibility and distribution
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning, menu placements, features, and special programming across accounts
  • Deliver educational sessions and product trainings for hospitality staff
  • Communicate whisky heritage, craftsmanship, and category positioning to trade and consumers
  • Identify and activate non-traditional opportunities (lifestyle, cultural, experiential environments)
  • Integrate multicultural accounts and communities into activation plans aligned with local demographics
  • Support consumer-facing initiatives within hospitality venues to drive trial and engagement
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, placement, and compliance of POS and promotional materials
  • Maintain strong, productive relationships with distributor teams to support execution
  • Provide regular market updates highlighting wins in visibility, distribution, and engagement
  • Ensure all activities comply with beverage alcohol industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Manage activation budgets responsibly and align spend with program objectives
  • Track market activity, expenses, and maintain organized records for evaluation and reporting

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (spoken and written) required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field)
  • 2–3 years of experience in spirits, beverage, hospitality, or experiential marketing
  • Passion for and knowledge of the premium whisky category
  • Understanding of the three-tier beverage alcohol distribution system
  • Strong communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trade relationships across diverse hospitality environments
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage responsibilities independently
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
