Waste Water Operator - Millsboro, Delaware

We are seeking an experienced Waste Water Operator to join a well-established environmental services team in Millsboro, Delaware. The person in this role will manage and operate wastewater treatment systems, ensure environmental compliance, and perform essential maintenance and reporting tasks. This position is full-time, offers opportunities for overtime and bonus eligibility, and may include relocation assistance for an ideal candidate.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wastewater treatment systems with a focus on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee required environmental monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting activities.
• Perform process control lab work, system monitoring, and sample analysis.
• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on pumps and treatment equipment; rebuild equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and process safety management.

• Wastewater License: Level III WW (or higher) wastewater certification.
• Minimum of 4 years of wastewater facility operating experience (Class II or higher), including at least 2 years in Direct Responsible Charge.
• Associate's Degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent acceptable coursework from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Open to working second or third shift as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and equipment rebuild experience.
• Good recordkeeping and compliance reporting skills.
