Technical Expert Witness - Geotechnical / Geophysical Senior Consultant

DAC Consulting Services is looking for Technical Expert Witness - Consultant to work on a Contract basis for a new potential case. This case requires your expertise in geotechnical, geophysical, and project management to provide independent expert opinions in a high-stakes arbitration concerning an offshore wind farm project. This remote consultancy role requires a deep understanding of the technical and managerial challenges faced by the industry, aligning with our mission to deliver exceptional outcomes through excellence, precision, and insight.

• Provide independent expert opinions on geotechnical, geophysical, and project management aspects of the case.
• Analyze whether the geotechnical survey could commence before the completion of the geophysical survey.
• Assess the implications of project management decisions on contractor standby costs.
• Prepare a comprehensive report within an eight-week timeframe, starting from early April.
• Collaborate with DAC Consulting Services to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

• Proven expertise in geotechnical, geophysical, and/or project management fields.
• Experience in providing expert witness services, preferably in arbitration settings.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex technical and managerial issues.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality reports within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate expert opinions clearly and effectively.
