We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with open heart surgery experience to assist in complex procedures in a dynamic operating room setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers weekday and weekend shifts starting at 6:30 AM. How You'll Contribute

  • Assist surgical teams in cardiovascular procedures in the scrub role, ensuring aseptic technique is followed.
  • Collaborate with RNs and surgeons to prepare for procedures and support smooth intra-operative care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment, evaluate supplies, and manage instruments for safety and readiness.
  • Participate in emergency response and sterile core operations, including case cart picking, restocking, and reprocessing instruments.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care and uphold high standards of patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Participate in team meetings, quality improvement, and ongoing training.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - must be valid at time of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must be current.
  • Solid knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and operating room protocols.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience assisting in open heart or cardiovascular procedures.
  • Preferred: Experience in both inpatient and ambulatory OR settings.
  • Skilled in sterile core operations including stocking, equipment management, and case cart preparation.
