This role is critical to ensuring smooth, efficient production by leading purchasing, planning, and logistics operations. The Supply Chain Manager helps prevent material shortages, improves scheduling accuracy, strengthens supplier performance, and drives cost savings—directly impacting delivery timelines, operational efficiency, and business profitability.
Lead and coach purchasing, planning, and logistics teams
Improve material availability and reduce shortages/bottlenecks
Build forecasts and production plans based on demand and inventory
Track and report KPIs (inventory turns, supplier performance, lead time, etc.)
Manage supplier contracts and third-party logistics partners
Ensure compliance with shipping and import/export regulations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations
Act as escalation point for purchasing/planning issues
10+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in manufacturing
5+ years in a leadership role
Experience across Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge + advanced Excel
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Must work fully onsite (not hybrid/remote)
Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship)
Preferred:
APICS / SCMP or similar certification
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Project management training
Salary: $92,000 – $126,000 (based on experience), with the potential to earn an additional $10,000–$30,000 through performance incentives
