Why This Role Matters

Fosterful is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor for Foster Care Case Aides and Case Managers. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or preferably Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field, with experience in the child welfare system and/or behavioral health. This role involves overseeing a team of six staff members, ensuring accurate and timely case reports, and providing solution-oriented, empathetic support while maintaining firm boundaries.

How You'll Contribute

  • Oversee a team of six staff members, including Case Aides and Case Managers

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of case reports

  • Provide trauma-informed support to children and caregivers in the foster care system

  • Oversee, develop and implement holistic and customized care plans

  • Collaborate with team members to make decisions and unite behind shared goals

  • Maintain a consistent and caring presence in the lives of foster families and staff members

  • Deliver exceptional, empathetic service to clients

  • Uphold the values of respect, inclusivity, integrity, and transparency in all interactions

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's or preferably Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field

  • Experience working with the child welfare system and/or behavioral health

  • Proficient in the Google Suite

  • Must live in the Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA metro area

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to be solution-oriented and quick on your feet

  • Empathetic with the ability to maintain firm boundaries
