Supervising Physiatrist - Missouri

Puzzle Healthcare is seeking a Supervising Physiatrist to play a crucial role in supporting recovery and reducing hospital readmissions for patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across Missouri. By overseeing the work of 4–5 Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, the Supervising Physiatrist ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care—all without the need for in-person visits. This highly flexible, remote role allows experienced physiatrists to make a meaningful impact without disrupting their current practice or lifestyle.

• Provide remote supervision for 4–5 Nurse Practitioners or PAs working in Skilled Nursing Facilities

• Review monthly clinical documentation and charts to ensure clinical quality and regulatory compliance

• Offer clinical guidance on cases related to barriers to recovery, functional improvement, and hospital readmission prevention

• Maintain appropriate documentation for supervision and collaborate with administrative teams as needed

• Ensure alignment with state regulations regarding supervision of advanced practice providers

• Board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist(MD or DO)

• Active medical license in the State of Missouri

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings (required)

• Experience supervising NPs/PAs (preferred)

• Must understand and be comfortable with chart review and remote oversight responsibilities

• Willingness to commit a few hours per month per provider (approx. 2 hours per NP/month)

• Reliable internet connection for remote work

• No in-person visits required

• Part-time, fully remote
