Why This Role Matters

We are a growing Bergen County CPA firm seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of 

CPA-firm experience. CPA preferred, not required with strong skills in accounting, auditing, 

workpaper and financial statement preparation for commercial real estate partnerships, 

construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other closely held businesses. Related 

tax experience a plus.

What You’ll Work On

 You’ll be hands-on with a mix of clients in industries that require real technical depth, 

including:

 Commercial real estate partnerships

 Construction contractors and developers

 Manufacturing and distribution companies

 Closely held businesses across multiple states

This role does not involve:

 International clients 

 Public company or SEC work 

 Big-firm siloed specialization

What Makes You a Great Fit

Must have CPA or EA

Prepare accounting workpapers for compilation and review engagements, perform audit 

procedures Assist, as needed in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for the 

related partnership, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. 

 Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with firm team members 

 Supervise staff as needed 

 Support planning, projections, and transactional matters
