We’re seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide individualized support and instruction to K-8 students with diverse learning needs. How You'll Contribute

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs.
  • Deliver specially designed instruction in inclusion, resource, and pullout settings.
  • Track and report student progress toward IEP goals; adjust instruction and interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Use data and digital tracking tools to monitor student growth and drive instructional decisions.
  • Participate in professional development focused on special education best practices, compliance, and classroom strategies.
  • Maintain all required records and documentation in accordance with state and district special education regulations.

What Makes You a Great Fit

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid Colorado teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and behavior supports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience working with at-risk, diverse, or special needs populations preferred.
