Senior Product Engineer - New York, NY

MissionHires is seeking a Senior Product Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing, well-funded construction tech startup in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-caliber team building software that transforms how infrastructure companies operate. You'll have direct ownership over product features, collaborate closely with customers, and help shape both technical and business strategy. • Build and own every aspect of the product, from customer conversations to code
• Shape technical direction and influence business strategy as the company scales
• Ship full-stack TypeScript features using React, Remix, Tailwind, and Postgres
• Drive new initiatives and lead high-impact projects
• Champion product craft, user experience, and system design
• Collaborate with a small, talented team in a fast-paced environment

• 7–15 years of experience as a software engineer (excluding Solutions Engineers or Technical Consultants)

• Senior or Staff level experience building and delivering end-to-end products (frontend/full stack preferred; backend acceptable if product-focused)

• Experience at an early/growth stage startup (<300 employees) or a top-talent tech company

• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university or elite engineering program (e.g., Waterloo, Georgia Tech)

• Demonstrated product ownership mindset: shipped features, not just infrastructure or ML tooling

• Evidence of initiative outside of work (e.g., polished personal website, side projects)

• Excited to work 5 days a week on-site in NYC
