How You'll Contribute

  • Serve as the electrical engineering expert across one or more plant operations areas.

  • Lead improvement and corrective action initiatives, including capital projects ranging from $50K to $1M.

  • Support internal teams by offering high-level technical expertise.

  • Manage and oversee installation and upgrade projects, coordinating both internal teams and external contractors.

  • Ensure all projects comply with safety and legal standards.

  • Design and finalize project scope, Bill of Materials, and parts planning.

  • Partner with automation vendors and supervise electrical installation teams.

  • Develop engineering drawings using Autodesk tools.

  • Perform risk assessments and implement safety countermeasures.

  • Handle hardware design, PLC & HMI programming, and control system integration.

  • Specify and procure electrical components and services.

  • Conduct factory acceptance tests, commissioning, and system checks.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation.

  • Strong proficiency in Rockwell software, PLC troubleshooting, and programming.

  • Deep knowledge of industrial ethernet communication and machine network layout.

  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards and electrical safety design.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance staff.

  • Ability to independently develop and manage electrical control systems.
