Senior Accountant - Summerlin South, Nevada

Our client is a privately held real estate investment and management firm seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growing portfolio of multifamily, commercial, student housing, and self-storage properties. This is a great opportunity to join an active owner-operator involved in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. The right candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and hands-on — comfortable reviewing financials from third-party management companies and preparing internal statements for owned assets.

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (GAAP).

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank statements.

• Review and consolidate financial packages from third-party property managers.

• Support audits, lender compliance, and budgeting.

• Track capital projects, reserves, and loan escrows.

• Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and systems integration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 4–6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in real estate accounting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and property-level financials.

• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• CPA or pursuing CPA a plus.
