How You'll Contribute

Role Highlights

  • Provide direct nursing care in the emergency services department, applying critical thinking, rapid assessment skills, and strong clinical judgement.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, support staff and ancillary services to stabilise patients, administer interventions, monitor and document care.
  • Utilise required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) from hire, maintain your RN license in Washington, and support the department's standards of practice.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing programme.
  • Active Washington State RN licence at time of hire.
  • National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.

Preferred:

  • National certification in emergency nursing or related specialty.
  • Experience in emergency/trauma nursing environment.

Skills Set (at least three required):

  • Rapid patient assessment and triage in emergency situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver safe, effective nursing care under pressure.
  • Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical record systems.
  • Emotional resilience and adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
