Why This Role Matters

Patrice & Associates is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a high-volume casual dining, full-service restaurant with a bar. The GM will drive sales, achieve EBITDA targets, manage budgets, and build a culture of accountability while recruiting, training, and developing managers and team members. This role owns both FOH and BOH performance, ensures flawless guest service, and upholds all operational, financial, and compliance standards. Salary: $68,000–$72,000 plus bonus and benefits.

How You'll Contribute

  • Own results for the restaurant (sales growth, EBITDA, budget adherence) and engage with the local community
  • Lead and be accountable for all FOH and HOH/BOH results, including Ecosure standards
  • Ensure guest service model is consistently executed by the FOH team
  • Communicate company initiatives and tactics to drive sales and profitability
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop managers and team members
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and weekly meetings; provide ongoing feedback and follow-up
  • Reinforce team members’ skills and managers’ leadership behaviors
  • Identify and implement retention strategies for top talent
  • Control receiving and inventory levels; escalate concerns to the Area Coach (AC)
  • Set, delegate, and follow up on daily goals and tasks
  • Monitor sales to optimize scheduling and staffing; create strategies to meet sales goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, wage and hour regulations, and filing responsibilities
  • Control funds, bank deposits, and payroll with high accuracy
  • Leverage POS, data, and analytics to inform decisions and improve operations
  • Drive local marketing initiatives and uphold brand standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3+ years hands-on experience as a General Manager in a casual dining, full-service restaurant with a bar
  • Current Restaurant General Manager experience required
  • Back-of-house/HOH kitchen management experience
  • Proven ability to grow sales and achieve financial targets (EBITDA/budget)
  • Strong leadership: team management, coaching, performance evaluation, and accountability
  • Expertise in inventory control, cost management, scheduling, and operational workflows
  • Guest-first mindset with strong service recovery and quality assurance skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems; comfortable using data/AI-driven analytics and technology to improve results
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and team collaboration skills
  • Adaptability, sound judgment under pressure, and flexibility in scheduling
  • Food safety knowledge (HACCP); ServSafe certified or able to obtain within 90 days
  • Understanding of menu, beverage, and current culinary trends
  • Experience with local marketing, promotions, and basic social media/branding initiatives
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to work up to 55 hours per week and meet physical demands (standing/walking for long periods; lifting up to 50 lbs; tolerance for temperature changes; frequent use of cleaning/sanitizing solutions; required vision capabilities)
