Expired

Location: On Site in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, United States

Employment type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Why This Role Matters

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is hospitality-driven, detail-oriented, and willing to roll up their sleeves wherever needed. This is a hands-on leadership role that supports both the General Manager and the overall success of daily operations.

How You'll Contribute

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service.
  • Lead by example on the floor — greeting guests, running food and drinks, bussing tables, or jumping behind the bar when needed.
  • Supervise and support FOH staff, providing training, coaching, and feedback.
  • Maintain a strong guest-first focus by promptly addressing concerns, resolving issues quickly, and crafting memorable dining experiences.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll management, labor efficiency, and daily shift planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between FOH and BOH.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and help control costs.
  • Contribute to staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Assistant General Manager Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience (AGM, FOH Manager, or equivalent) in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
  • Hands-on leader who is willing to step into any role to support the team.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Excellent guest service instincts and the ability to de-escalate issues with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in scheduling, payroll, and inventory.
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the leadership team.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic financial reporting.
