Registered Nurse - Phoenix, Arizona

All About People is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The RN will deliver resident-centered care, administer medications and treatments within scope, lead and support care teams, complete admissions assessments and documentation (including MDS), communicate across the interdisciplinary team and with families, and contribute to continuous process improvement. Pay: $45/hr.

• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered and within RN scope of practice
• Receive and deliver comprehensive shift reports; communicate changes in resident status
• Conduct initial admission nursing assessments; assist with MDS assessments, quarterly reviews, and care plans
• Maintain clinical and administrative documentation for diagnoses, assessments, treatments, and progress summaries
• Lead and provide limited supervision to staff; assist with direct resident care and ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility)
• Participate in and conduct in-service training and staff development
• Apply AMS concepts and tools for problem solving and continuous work/process improvement and efficiency
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate, timely care
• Observe, assess, and document resident behavior, condition changes, and response to treatment
• Adhere to federal, state, and facility regulations regarding nursing practice, medication control, and documentation

• Two (2) years of experience in skilled nursing, long term care, or nursing home settings (non-negotiable)
• Registered Nurse (active licensure) (non-negotiable)
• BLS certification (non-negotiable)
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance (non-negotiable)
• Negative TB test results (non-negotiable)
• Nursing diploma/BSN (non-negotiable per listing)
• Knowledge of gerontological/geriatric nursing theory, aging process, and changing resident care needs
• Proficiency in team nursing, treatment planning, pharmacology, and medication practices
• Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and agency regulations for geriatric nursing and medication control
• Strong assessment, documentation, and care planning skills within a team nursing model
• Effective oral and written communication; strong interpersonal relationship-building
• Ability to learn, implement, and monitor AMS methods for continuous improvement
