Registered Nurse - Electroconvulsive Therapy
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join a behavioral health facility's Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) team on an as-needed basis during day shifts. This position is located in Belle Mead, New Jersey, and is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical setting focused on mental health interventions and personalized care. The area offers proximity to state parks, cultural attractions, and easier access to New York City and Philadelphia, supporting work-life balance and outdoor activities.

Position Highlights:

• Work Hours: 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
• Schedule: Per Diem with On-Call Responsibilities
• Weekends: Not required
• Holidays: As needed
• Department: ECT Unit within a Behavioral Health Setting
• No telework option

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing ECT treatments.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and support staff.
• Monitor patient status pre-, during, and post-ECT procedures.
• Delegate and oversee responsibilities assigned to other caregivers.
• Act as a clinical resource to patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license (required)
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire (for those hired after Nov 2019)
• Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in a Nurse Residency Program

Compensation/Benefits Notes:

• Minimum rate of $44.24 Hourly
• Bonus: Yes - Up to 1%
• Shift Differentials Available: Weekday Evening +$4.00/hr; Weekend Day +$4.00/hr; Weekend Evening +$8.00/hr; Weekday Night +$6.00/hr; Weekend Night +$10.00/hr
