Real Estate Appraiser

MissionHires is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, high-ethics real estate appraisal firm. We’re seeking Licensed or Certified Residential/General Appraisers who are driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about appraisal quality and customer service. You’ll complete USPAP-compliant residential appraisals, collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, and benefit from steady workflow even in slow markets. • Complete high-quality residential real estate appraisals in full compliance with USPAP, and applicable federal and state regulations
• Deliver industry-leading customer service while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in all assignments
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure a seamless experience
• Provide proactive order-level status updates; respond promptly to calls, emails, and texts
• Attend required training seminars, webinars, and conference calls
• Independently manage a defined territory and consistently handle end-to-end appraisal workflows
• Leverage provided technology (form-filling software, databases) to optimize appraisal quality and efficiency

• Active Licensed Residential, Certified Residential, or Certified General Appraiser license in good standing

• Broad residential property knowledge and market competency within assigned geographic area

• Ability to travel locally with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Proven ability to independently manage full appraisal lifecycle within a defined territory

• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset

• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with USPAP and state/federal regulations

• Pass a background and criminal history verification

• Preferred: Prior Staff Appraiser experience at a lender or appraisal management company

• Preferred: FHA-approved appraiser in good standing

• Preferred: Veterans Administration (VA) appraiser approval

• Experience appraising a broad range of residential property types

• Eligibility to enroll in all health plans, effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of uninterrupted employment
