Radiation Therapist
Under the direction of the Department Manager and the supervision of the Lead Radiation Therapist, the Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering therapeutic radiation treatments and handling procedures to set up, plan, and verify the accuracy of treatment delivery using current radiotherapy techniques and adhering to department standards. Fulltime position located in Eureka, CA. Relocation possible for an ideal candidate. Salary range: $109,179 - $139,817. Visa support not available.

How You'll Contribute

  • Administer therapeutic radiation treatments in line with established protocols.
  • Support treatment planning, setup, and verification to ensure accurate radiation delivery.
  • Utilize modern radiotherapy techniques as defined by department practices.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Maintain required certifications and uphold regulatory/licensing compliance.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Completion of formal therapeutic radiologic technology training at an approved school.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
  • California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work full-time, never travel.
  • Preferred: Specialized training in dosimetric techniques and physics of treatment planning.
  • Skills:
    1. Proficiency in radiation therapy treatment setup and delivery.
    2. Strong understanding of radiotherapy planning and verification protocols.
    3. Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
    4. Ability to maintain compliance with radiologic technology certifications and regulations.
