MissionHires is seeking a Property Condition Assessment (PCA) Consultant / Staff Facilities Professional to perform Property and Facility Condition Assessments that inform major real estate and asset management decisions. This role offers a 50/50 mix of field and office work, autonomy with collaboration across specialties, fast growth potential, and periodic travel. You’ll evaluate structural, MEP, fire/life safety, and accessibility systems; identify risks and capital needs; and deliver clear, data-backed reports in platforms like Quire and Paragon.

How You'll Contribute

  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate PCAs/FCAs for small to medium-sized projects
  • Execute routine and occasionally complex due diligence assessments across varied property types
  • Develop draft reports and client deliverables; translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Make recommendations, adaptations, and modifications for senior consultant review
  • Participate on larger, more complex portfolio assignments as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Perform or oversee contract administration for projects of varying sizes
  • Apply knowledge of structural, MEP, fire/life safety, and accessibility systems during site evaluations
  • Utilize Quire, Paragon, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Follow safety rules and pre-task planning; identify and report safety issues
  • Maintain quality standards and consistency across all project work
  • Work independently in the field and remotely from home; collaborate with environmental and specialty experts
  • Travel locally with occasional overnight trips across Texas and beyond

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in building science or related building field with up to 6 years of PCA/FCA experience; or 4–9 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Broad understanding of building systems (structural, MEP, fire/life safety, accessibility) and how facilities function
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn and use Quire and Paragon
  • Experience using tablets and portable electronic devices for field data collection
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and impactful technical reports
  • Comfort with a 50/50 mix of field and office work and managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work remotely from home and while traveling
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
  • Preferred: Professional registrations (RA, PE) or related certifications (RRO, CxP, LEED AP)
