How You'll Contribute

  • Direct all production activities for assigned shift to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery targets
  • Lead timely continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor
  • Report plant labor operating efficiencies and machine utilization to management
  • Conduct performance evaluations for Production Supervisors
  • Maintain a safe work environment and drive 5S housekeeping standards
  • Assist in root cause analysis and eliminate downtime using 8D corrective actions
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling of line personnel with the Operations Manager
  • Proactively resolve problems and conflicts to minimize disruption
  • Model a positive management approach and actively participate in meetings
  • Supervise Team Leaders and production Team Members to ensure accurate, on-time output
  • Establish and enforce safe work practices and direct plant emergencies as needed
  • Oversee training and development of Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Technicians in technical and people leadership skills
  • Ensure strict compliance with Quality Control standards and protect company reputation as a quality producer
  • Communicate and counsel employees to maintain high understanding, trust, and integrity
  • Analyze production performance to identify and implement profitability improvements
  • Create visual aids for effective communication on the production floor
