How You'll Contribute
- Manage end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, components, and services to meet production schedules
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to secure optimal cost, quality, and lead times
- Analyze daily material requirements from production schedules and requisitions; convert to timely purchase orders
- Identify, qualify, and compare alternative suppliers for bids, pricing, and delivery performance
- Coordinate and process RMAs; resolve shipping discrepancies and invoice issues
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and performance tracking
- Collaborate in weekly production meetings to address special purchasing and expediting needs
- Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and production delays
- Ensure purchasing data integrity within ERP or purchasing systems
