In this W-2 role, you will own end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, mechanical systems, and electrical components, driving on-time delivery, cost savings, and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing/fabrication purchasing experience, proven negotiation strength, ERP proficiency, and deep familiarity with metals (sheet, tubing, structural), pumps, actuators, and electrical components. US citizenship or Green Card required. Base $90,000 with full benefits, 401(k) match, and profit sharing.

How You'll Contribute

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, components, and services to meet production schedules
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to secure optimal cost, quality, and lead times
  • Analyze daily material requirements from production schedules and requisitions; convert to timely purchase orders
  • Identify, qualify, and compare alternative suppliers for bids, pricing, and delivery performance
  • Coordinate and process RMAs; resolve shipping discrepancies and invoice issues
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and performance tracking
  • Collaborate in weekly production meetings to address special purchasing and expediting needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and production delays
  • Ensure purchasing data integrity within ERP or purchasing systems

  • 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Demonstrated success negotiating pricing and terms for routine and high-value purchases
  • Hands-on experience procuring steel (sheet, tubing, structural), pumps, actuators, and electrical components
  • Solid understanding of inventory control and MRP; proficiency with ERP or custom purchasing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong supplier relationship management
  • Proven problem-solving skills handling RMAs, shipping, and invoicing issues
  • Consistent, stable work history with increasing responsibility
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • On-site only; must reside within a 45-minute drive of Richfield, Wisconsin
