Physician Assistant - Surgical First Assist - Geneva, New York

We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant with strong surgical experience to join a dynamic surgical team in Geneva, NY. In this role, you'll function as a First Assist in the operating room while also supporting patients in both pre- and post-operative care settings. You will collaborate directly with the Chief of Surgery and surgeons specializing in vascular and oncology procedures, conduct pre-op evaluations, post-op follow-ups, assist with inpatient rounding when needed, and maintain communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.

• Function as First Assist in the operating room for surgical procedures (including vascular and oncology cases)
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations
• Perform post-operative follow-ups
• Assist with inpatient rounding when needed
• Maintain communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care

• Active NYS Physician Assistant License (Required)
• National Certification through NCCPA (Required)
• DEA License (Required)
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
• Excellent clinical assessment skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
