A large healthcare system is seeking experienced pharmacy professionals for opportunities spanning both pharmacy management and advanced clinical practice.

Depending on your background, you may be considered for a Pharmacy Manager or Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position. Management candidates will help lead pharmacy operations, guide teams, manage resources, support quality and compliance, and advance service improvements. Clinical specialists will provide advanced, patient-centered pharmaceutical care, serve as medication experts, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.

How You'll Contribute

Depending on the position and your experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Lead pharmacy personnel and support daily pharmacy operations.

  • Guide staffing, workload distribution, performance, and team development.

  • Participate in operational planning, budgeting, resource management, and service improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Deliver advanced, patient-centered pharmaceutical care.

  • Serve as a medication expert for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, policies, and medication-use practices.

  • Lead or support quality improvement, patient safety, and strategic pharmacy initiatives.

  • Educate patients, providers, pharmacy staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Collaborate across clinical, operational, and leadership functions to improve outcomes and pharmacy services.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy, or equivalent international education meeting FPGEC requirements.

  • Active Minnesota Pharmacist License or ability to obtain licensure within three months of hire.

  • Current Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain it within three months.

  • Experience practicing as a pharmacist in a health-system environment.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment.

Manager-Level Experience Preferred

  • Pharmacy operations or personnel leadership experience.

  • Experience with staffing, resource planning, budgeting, compliance, or quality oversight.

  • Ability to guide teams, manage performance, and lead service improvements.

  • Advanced education or training in pharmacy administration, leadership, or business.

Clinical Specialist Experience Preferred

  • PharmD and PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency training.

  • Advanced clinical experience in specialty pharmacy, oncology, pediatrics, acute care, ambulatory care, or another specialty area.

  • Board certification in a pharmacy specialty.

  • Experience developing clinical protocols, supporting medication-use systems, and leading quality initiatives.

  • Experience with Epic or another electronic medical record system.
