Personal Injury Attorney - Los Angeles, California

MissionHires is partnering with a highly reputable plaintiff-side personal injury law firm to hire a full-time Personal Injury Attorney in California. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of plaintiff PI experience, strong negotiation and litigation skills, is an active CA Bar member in good standing, and can manage cases end-to-end—from intake and discovery through settlement or trial. Competitive comp ($150–$350k base plus percentage of fee), full benefits, and strong growth opportunities. Onsite, 5 days/week.

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial
• Draft and prepare complaints, briefs, discovery motions, motions for summary judgment, and trial motions
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Conduct legal research and manage case files using case management software
• Correspond and negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable settlements
• Interview clients to assess case details, identify issues, and develop case strategy
• Prepare clients for mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, and trial
• Gather and analyze evidence; coordinate investigations and witness preparation
• Prepare and file court documents and manage deadlines
• Appear and advocate for clients in court proceedings
• Educate clients on legal rights, processes, and expectations throughout the case

• 6+ years of experience as a plaintiff-side Personal Injury Attorney

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active California State Bar admission in good standing

• Proven negotiation and litigation skills, including motion practice and depositions

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated compassion and empathy for clients in difficult situations

• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software

• Availability to work onsite in person, 5 days per week
