Status: Full-Time, 7 on/7 off (Evening Shift: 12 p.m. - 11 p.m.)

We are seeking a Residency-Trained Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on Pediatrics to support emergency and critical care units within a high-acuity hospital setting. This is an integrated, hands-on role best suited for a professional with a strong foundation in inpatient pediatric pharmacy and experience in the ED or PICU. No on-call duties are required. This is a non-exempt/hourly role with a consistent 7 on/7 off evening shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with care teams
• Support clinicians with order verification and clinical decision-making
• Serve as a pharmacy resource to nursing and physician staff
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in sterile product compounding (certification required)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program
• Completion of a PGY1 residency (PGY2 in Pediatrics highly desirable)
• Active Texas Registered Pharmacist license
• Sterile compounding certification from an accredited program
• At least two years of inpatient acute care experience; pediatric or NICU exposure preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Board Certification preferred

Preferred Background:

• Experience in pediatric settings such as General Pediatrics, NICU, PICU, or ED
• Community hospital experience with significant pediatric patient volume and acuity is acceptable
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure clinical environments
