How You'll Contribute

  • Oversee daily patient access operations and serve as the main liaison between the hospital and Shared Services

  • Ensure adherence to customer service standards during all patient interactions

  • Monitor registration quality and accuracy across all units

  • Manage staffing schedules, department meetings, on-call coverage, and issue resolution

  • Lead the team in meeting key targets including insurance verification, upfront payments, and service excellence

  • Track and report on performance metrics, workforce planning, and department budgets

  • Support a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and top-tier patient access performance

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (required)

  • At least 3 years of experience as a manager in a hospital-based patient access department, specifically within a high-volume emergency department (ER)

  • Proven success leading large frontline registration teams (50+ FTEs) in complex, fast-paced clinical environments

  • Strong familiarity with healthcare regulations, insurance verification, and patient intake procedures

  • Experience monitoring and delivering performance tied to 10+ KPIs

  • Comfort managing budgets, scheduling, QA, and productivity oversight
